Mark Langford retired in 2007 from a seventeen-year career in law enforcement. He lives with his family along the sparkling waters of the Roaring Fork River in Colorado.
His experience during his law enforcement career was in patrol work, but included extensive duties in front-line supervision and instructing defensive tactics, arrest control, firearms, SWAT tactics, and active-shooter response. He now enjoys writing and spending his days with his wife, two spoiled dogs, and a free-range cat that adopted them all.
